Speaker of the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s National Assembly (NA) Kim Jin-pyo, his spouse, and a high-ranking delegation of the country’s parliament arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on January 12 evening, starting an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Chairman of the Vietnamese NA Vuong Dinh Hue.
The upcoming official visit to Vietnam by Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Kim Jin-pyo from January 12-18 is expected to promote parliamentary cooperation between the two nations in a practical and effective manner, contributing to further deepening bilateral relations.
Vietnam and the Republic of Korea should increase media cooperation to popularize their countries’ images and contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries, said State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son has expressed his belief that relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) will continue to flourish across all fields to the benefit of both peoples following President Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s recently concluded State visit.
