Overturn Brendan Dasseys murder conviction. Conviction. Dassey. Along with his uncle steven avery. Was convicted in the 2005 murder of teresa halbach. Last month a judge ruled the state had to retry dassey or release him within 90 days. Well because the state is appealing that ruling. For now no retrial, and dassey stays in prison.
