The price of field-mouse meat in the Mekong Delta is now higher than that of pork. And in Hanoi, wild vegetables cost more than imported beef bacon, or 10 times more than chicken.

Harvest-mouse meat is a favorite dish of many people, especially people in the southwestern region. At restaurants, dishes processed from field-mouse meat are priced from VND80,000 to VND120,000/plate.

Vietnam is working to realise its goal of being listed in Top 4 in ASEAN and Top 50 of the world in terms in artificial intelligence (AI) research, development and application by 2030.
Vietnam targets to be in top Top 4 in ASEAN and Top 50 of the world in terms in AI research, development and application by 2030. The target was set in a National Strategy on AI Research, Development and Application by 2030 recently approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

After receiving 928,900 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in February and early April, Vietnam will continue to receive some 4.1 million doses in May as part of its efforts to build community immunity this year.

To reach the goal, the country needs up to 150 million doses of the vaccine for its people, according to the Ministry of Health.
