The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has continuously searched for people infected with COVID-19, who have not entered the proactive treatment system through examinations conducted by district offices.
The BMA also opens contact channel via 1669 hotline of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Emergency Medical Service Center or Erawan Center. With this channel, the COVID-19 infected persons who are still waiting for treatment can notify the BMA of their information so that the BMA can immediately manage and search for hospitals that are suitable to their symptoms without delay. As of May 3, 539 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected in Bangkok and 2,041 new cases across Thailand.
