Investigators are now searching for the reasons why, Jordan Burgess is live with what were learning this morning. Right now police here in Fairfield Township are calling this a family matter. But what that matter might be they havent gone into any detail on yet. At this point Police Believe that a Family Member showed up at this home on springcrest drive sometime between 7 and 9 last night. What they found down in the basement was a mom and her daughter both shot to death. They say there arent any signs someone had broken into the house. And at this point they believe the mom shot her daughter and then took her own life. Right now might have led up to this shooting saying only its very sad. Police say James Jarrard should be considered armed and dangerous. Hes facing charges of attempted murder and child endangerment. A Million Dollar warrant now hangs over his yeard. The 32yearold suspect is accused of shooting this 8year old boy. Sunday night his mother told me over the phone joshua is lucky to be alive. She says the bullet barely missed everthing vital. And doctors decided today it is safest to leave the bullet in he will carry it with him for the rest of his life. my son is scared and he is waiting for you to turn yourself and reporter in an interview yesterday she urged the gunman to turn himself in. Family members say joshua was hit on accident. And that the gunman was actually aiming at his own brother after an argument. The bullet went throught the pant leg of the intended target and ricocheted. Hitting the 8 yearold boy. Police say jarrard has a lengthy criminal history. And this isnt the first time hes evaded the police. But detectives hope he is running out of
