ALBANY – For the first time in nearly two years, crowds can return to the Jennings Landing amphitheater for the Alive at Five concert series, starting Wednesday.
The free series was canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic, and this year organizers originally decided to take the series virtual, broadcasting three shows earlier this month. However, with the recent lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, the remaining five concerts will be held in person at full capacity.
Wednesday’s concert, which runs from 5 to 8 p.m., will feature a Reggae Night with The Meditations and Mixed Roots. The series will conclude on July 28 with a Classic Rock Night, featuring Warrant, known for the song “Cherry Pie.”
