Community Heritage Grants Recipients 2018
The Community Heritage Grants (CHG) program provides grants of up to $15,000 to community organisations such as libraries, archives, museums, genealogical and historical societies, multicultural and Indigenous groups. The grants are provided to assist with the preservation of locally owned, but nationally significant collections of materials that are publicly accessible including artefacts, letters, diaries, maps, photographs, and audio visual material.
In 2018, 60 grants were awarded, totalling $367,470.

Comedy legend and rock music aficionado Bill Bailey has put himself forward to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Italy.
56-year-old Bill took to Twitter on Sunday morning (23rd May) to confirm heâd be up for performing for the UK, writing: âIâd be happy to throw my hat in the ring for #Eurovision 2022.â
Bill Baileyâs offer came the morning after the United Kingdom scored nul points across the board at Eurovision in Rotterdam for James Newmanâs performance of âEmbers.â
