Adult Education Consortium supports men, women of all ages
By Leslie Sandoval
Victor Valley College
For the past six years, the Victor Valley Adult Education Regional Consortium has helped hundreds of men and women complete high school, providing them with opportunities for postsecondary education, new careers and, for many, a sense of fulfillment in meeting a lifelong goal.
The Consortium was established in the spring of 2014, bringing together local school districts and Victor Valley College to develop a comprehensive plan that serves the academic needs of adults in the region.
The primary goal of the Consortium is to educate adults through the basic skills classes required for a high school diploma or high school equivalency.
