A few hours after the rioting began in the U.S. Capitol on January 6, well-known Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman released a Desperate Benediction .
Chapman had been working on this song for roughly a year, but the singer felt like yesterday during the protests was the right time to release this song, calling for God s peace over the country.
