Memorial Day weekend is coming up, and it looks like the weather will finally be nice (but then again, it s Texas, so you never really know).
With the hopes of the sun shining bright, we know outdoor activities will be something many might want to do, such as kicking back and fishing at a nearby lake. There are many spots to hit in San Antonio, but few are known to be a place where you can actually catch a fish.
Instead of waiting for hours for something to hook on, we used data from Fishbrain.com to determine the popular fishing spots in the San Antonio area. The fishing app allows anglers to log in their catches at a creek or lake. In 2020, more than 2.4 million catches were logged in the app that has nearly 52,000 locations.
