What the Justice Secretary is going to announce in the next few minutes, it has been trailed overnight, is that people who kill their partners will lose their parental rights on arrest. The idea being that too often when there is a situation of Domestic Violence or domestic killing that you still have access to children despite the pain and suffering that can cause.
