0 back. it s my way of saying i see you, i appreciate you, and i thank you. i m not comfortable just walking past and ignoring them. of course, usually they are male troopers. in this case, i don t remember doing it at all. i didn t do it consciously with the female trooper. i did not mean any sexual connotation. i did not mean any intimacy by it. i just wasn t thinking. it was totally thoughtless in the literal sense of the word, but it was also insensitive. it was embarrassing to her and it was disrespectful. it was a mistake, plain and simple. i have no other words to explain it. i want to personally apologize to her and her family. i have the greatest respect for her and for the new york state police. now, obviously in a highly political matter like this, there are many agendas and there are many motivations at play. if anyone thought otherwise, they would be naive and new yorkers are not naive. but i want to thank the women who came forward with sincere complaints. it is not easy

what we now do and what s important to the process is that report be challenged. i think the governor has a right, through his attorney and through his own bidding, should he choose, to speak to the issues of why this contradicts the behavior he s engaged in. i am very uncomfortable with a process, wherein you have a report that s issued. i ve known letitia james for 20 years. very impressive, intelligent, and amazing, you know, individual. she didn t prepare the report. other people did. having said that, we can t just take the report and say there is nothing to see here. and so, i am a bit troubled by a person who operates in the courts of new york, and has operated for the last-two decades, and believes in the principle of due process and just saying let s accept the report and we ll go home. no. it s time to look at the facts. it s time to look at whether there s any, other contradictions. it s time to look at whether there are motivations which may motivate people to say or not to

she had the interaction with her ex-boss that was a textbook abuse case and listen to what he said and her response. i ve heard charlotte and her lawyer, and i understand what they are saying, but they read into comments that i made. they ascribe motives i never had, and simply put, they heard things that i just didn t say. charlotte, i want you to know that i am truly and deeply sorry. he sexually harassed me. i am not confused. it is not confusing. i am living in reality and it s sad to see that he s not. his intention was trying to sleep with me. and that was charlotte to norah o donnell. susan, is this a classic case of victim shaming, of trying to gaslight her? it absolutely is, only andrew

talks about welcoming the judge and jury in the case. he may just want to welcome the judge. because i m not too sure a jury is going to that be welcoming of this defense. shannon: andy, you know new york better than i do. you were a prosecutor there how is this playing? it sounded like to me in the governor s rebuttal to me was a little bit of victim shaming, of continuing to question these women, seeming to suggest that he was just trying to be a nice guy and throwing these women under the bus suggesting this was political in nature but, you know, short of impeachment, i don t know how he goes anywhere before his term is up. yeah. well, i think, shannon, that the weather vane here is karl hasting because he is actually very close to cuomo. and the thought here in new york was that as long as hasty was at the helm in the assembly, that cuomo would be fine. the thing is everybody always knew this investigation being
