Prosecutors charged Marquan Marshall with the murder of Jath Burns in March.

Family and friends of Jath Burns say he was a kind man with a big heart. Police said Burns was shot and killed while trying to break up a fight inside his bar.
The shooting happened last Saturday at the Uptown Lounge near 61st and Peoria.
Burns loved ones say as much as they are grieving, the overwhelming support they have received shows good of a person he was.
The family said they are starting a clothing line in his honor called the Fly High NY Kid Collection. They said the clothing line will start selling in August, and all proceeds from that collection will go to Burns children.
This happened early Saturday morning near 61st Street and Peoria.
Police said the victim is Jath Burns, who owned the club.
Police said that two women began fighting inside Uptown Lounge, and then the fight went outside the club.
Authorities said Burns went to break up the fight and was shot multiple times.
Police said Burns died at the scene.
Police said they are looking for Marquan Marshall in connection to this deadly shooting.
