ISORROPIA Foundation, the Isle of Wight’s mental health wellbeing organisation, celebrated its second birthday this month. The Isorropia team, a blend of professionals and people with lived experience, delivers a wide range of bespoke programmes to empower people to take control of their wellbeing, develop resilience and live their best possible life. Since opening its doors on May 1, 2019, Isorropia has accepted nearly 1500 referrals. . As lockdown eases, the foundation continues to offer both face-to-face and online support. Isorropia now works closely with GP surgeries to enable easier access to its services. Six mental health practitioners are based in GP surgeries across the Island, and appointments can be booked directly with them.

Isorropia Mental Health Foundation Receives Funding To Continue Online Support

An Isle of Wight mental health and wellbeing organisation has received funding to continue its successful online support for those in need.
Isorropia Foundation opened in 2019 and has offered multiple face-to-face activities and workshops to over 1,000 people since inception, and its team have created a new approach designed to empower individuals to take responsibility for their own wellbeing.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Isorropia Foundation prioritised the needs of members as well as the local community - deciding to rapidly transform its provision to make its programme and interventions available online and over the phone.
