The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, with a $10,000 donation from Desjardins and a partnership with Lockerby Taxi, will launch Project GoVax on Tuesday.
GoVax will provide transportation to those in need so they can make their COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

With increased vaccine supplies allowing the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Greater Sudbury to accelerate, the partnership created Project GoVax to make sure Sudburians can get to and from their COVID-19 vaccination appointment.
Some Sudburians don’t have the money to get to their appointments; some lack transit service or face other barriers, the partnership noted in a release Monday.
