New city hall to rise in Carmona City | The Manila Times

CARMONA CITY, Cavite: A brand-new city hall will soon rise here which officials of the local government described as a symbol of a more prosperous and progressive future where more public services can be provided to help its citizens keep pace with the modern era. The groundbreaking ceremony for the new city hall was successfully held on Wednesday, August 16, exactly 40 days since the people of Carmona voted to confirm the town s cityhood.

Carmona distributes P50K cash incentive to nonagenarian residents

(Photo courtesy of Municipality of Carmona, Cavite) Cavite 5th district Representative Dahlia Loyola, Mayor Roy Loyola, Vice Mayor Cesar Ines, Jr., town council members, and Barangay Bancal captain Jeff Levardo handed the cash incentives to two male residents who turned 90 years old. “Nakakatuwang makita na malakas at malusog ang ating mga lolo sa kabila ng pandemya (It’s great to see that our grandfathers are strong and healthy despite the pandemic), Mayor Loyola said in a Facebook post.  The program is in accordance with Municipal Ordinance 12-2019, which aims to boost gross domestic happiness in all sectors, including senior citizens. A nonagenarian has to be a Carmona resident for 15 consecutive years to qualify for the cash incentive.
