Students of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), who had resumed their fresh protest yesterday demanding the resignation of the university’s Vice-Chancellor Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed, today said Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni was on her way to the campus to hold a meeting with the protesters to resolve the ongoing crisis of the university.
The students of Shahjalal University of Science of Technology (Sust) brought out a procession on the campus yesterday, as their demand for Vice-Chancellor Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed’s resignation is not met yet.
After 163 hours, 28 students of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology ended their hunger strike yesterday at the request of former Sust professors Muhammed Zafar Iqbal and Yasmeen Haque.
A third party is trying to take advantage of the students’ movement at the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) which is demanding the resignation of its Vice-Chancellor Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed, Dhaka University Teachers Association (DUTA) said in a statement today.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni had a virtual meeting with the protesting students of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) early today at 1:30am.
