The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, Kaduna State chapter, has asked the government to identify, arrest and prosecute perpetrators of violence against its people in Zangon Kataf local government area.
The association’s Director, Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Bayero Zango, while briefing newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday, said there has been a renewed wanton killing and destruction of properties belonging to Fulanis in Zangon Kataf LGA.
He also appealed to members of MACBAN to be calm, law-abiding and not take laws into their hands but allow constituted authority to enforce peace and order.

Pope Francis has appointed Monsignor David Ajang of the Catholic Archdiocese of Jos as the second Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Lafia.
Monsignor Cletus Gotan, the Vicar-General of the Archdiocese of Jos, confirmed the development to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Jos.
According to Gotan, the Pope announced the appointment on Wednesday.
He said that preparations for the installation of the new bishop would commence soon.
Ajang was ordained a priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Jos in December 1994.
The 51-year-old replaces Archbishop Matthew Audu, the first bishop of Lafia diocese.
