Russian media group condemns blocking by Facebook
Moscow, Mar 8 (Prensa Latina) The media group Rossiya Segodnya (Russia Today, RT) described the blocking of its publications by the Facebook social network as an act of censorship and called for an end to these practices.
The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) demanded that Facebook restore access to publications on various sites of Russian media.
The censored journalistic materials were related to the arrest of supporters of a Ukrainian neo-Nazi group by the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Sputnik news agency reported.

A meeting of Iran s Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which was scheduled for Saturday, was cancelled.
Ghalibaf is on a three-day visit to Moscow.
According to Iranian MP Mojtaba Tavangar, the meeting was cancelled after Ghalibaf refused to accept the health protocols required for the meetings with the Russian President.
According to reports, very few people are allowed to have face-to-face meeting with Putin, as he remains confined to a virus-free bubble. Those who meet with him are required to be quarantined before seeing him.
Ghalibaf was expected to meet with top Russian officials, including Putin and State Duma Chairman Viacheslav Volodin.

Moscow, Dec 15 (Prensa Latina) Russia reported on Tuesday some 2,707,945 cases to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, causing the Covid-19 pandemic, after about 26,689 infections were detected in a day, Moscow television stated. Chairman of the State Duma (Lower House) Viacheslav Volodin reported on Monday about the performance of diagnostic tests, after which 11 lawmakers tested positive for Covid-19, five of them getting the virus twice, among them scientist Artur Shilingarov.
So far, the aforementioned disease has affected 157 of 450 Duma members and about 13,000 cosmic and missile workers have been also infected with this deadly virus, the operational staff to fight Covid-19 reported.
