WORCESTER The owners of the Worcester Restaurant Group are passing the torch down to the next generation as they named their daughter, Caitlyn Carolan, president, the group announced Monday. Worcester Restaurant Group owners Robb and Madeleine Ahlquist have operated the family business for more than 40 years, opening The Sole Proprietor, One Eleven Chop House and VIA Italian Table together.  As president, Carolan will be responsible for directing and overseeing the operations, marketing and financial aspects of the three restaurants. She served as the chief operating officer of Worcester Restaurant Group prior to being named president. In a release Monday, the Ahlquists said they will continue to be involved in the strategic planning and ongoing development of the culture of customer care and hospitality excellence.
