A member of the Soweto United E-hailing Association, Vhatuka Mbelengwa, said it was time to stop pointing fingers at each other and vilifying minibus taxi operators.
The agreement will see e-hailing taxis drop off their passengers at the gates, with South African E-hailing Association spokesman Vhatuka Mbelengwa saying on Thursday talks would continue on Friday.
E-hailing drivers, including Uber and Bolt, have been banned from dropping off or picking up passengers inside malls in Soweto for a period of three months.
