Veterans Rec Center offers new adult classes By MELISSA BILL - | Apr 21, 2021 Lehigh’s Veterans Park Recreation Center has announced the addition of new adult classes to its spring and summer schedule. The two new classes complement the already busy calendar of activities that have resumed at the local center. One of the newest additions is the center’s Crystal Bowl Meditation classes, which take place the third Wednesday of each month, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Classes are $15 each. Crystal Bowl Meditation is a sound vibrational meditation that is approximately an hour long and meant to soothe the mind, body and spirit. According to the class description, participants may experience a heightened sense of intuition, stress relief, balancing of chakras, increased stamina and better focus.

Lee County Parks & Recreation is seeking public input to improve the department By Staff | Jan 26, 2021 Lee County Parks & Recreation is asking the public to help improve the services and amenities offered by participating in a needs assessment survey. The survey is conducted every other year and is available in both English https://arcg.is/1zn91L and Spanish https://arcg.is/1KfDLC. The survey is listed on the homepage of the Parks & Recreation website www.leeparks.org and links are available on the department’s Facebook – “Lee County Parks & Recreation” – and Instagram – “leeparksandrecreation” – pages. Completing the survey is important to anyone who uses any of the Lee County parks or other recreational sites because it allows the public to provide feedback on what the department is doing well and where the department can improve. The survey will remain online until April 30.
