WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (AP) â In this Franklin County town sits an unassuming museum packed with memorabilia from the region s men and women who served their country in conflicts dating back to the Civil War.
It is located inside an old train depot off Main Street, a few feet from the tracks that once hauled commuters and loads of coal mined from the county s belly to places across the nation.
