Does Your Twin Falls Pet Know Any Super Cool Tricks?
This contest is for the dogs. If you have dedicated time to teach your pooch a cool trick, you have a chance to win $1,000 and some free pet care products. Honestly, I m always impressed when someone teaches their dog a new trick. My dogs know sit but only if there is a treat involved, or they think there s a treat in it for them. Otherwise my dogs just bark a lot and get hair on everything. I know that s on me a the owner and that s why I know it takes a lot to get your dog to listen and perform any type of trick.
My dog Rosie turns four years old February 22.
Just a few days later, February 28 marks two years since my wife Katie and I adopted Rosie from the Coon Rapids Humane Society. Rosie s the first dog I ve ever had, and I knew from the beginning that I wanted her to be a well-trained, obedient dog. I immediately began putting in the work of training her to sit, stay, lie down, roll over and shake. Over the past couple of years, she s learned those commands as well as words like couch, back door, ball, potty, treat, and her favorite car ride. It s fair to say I m both pleased with the work I ve put in and proud of the dog Rosie is today!
