The lawsuit alleges Superintendent Todd Freeman, Vestavia Hills City Schools and the city of Vestavia Hills have failed to comply with the state s Open Records Act by not providing records related to the COVID-19 pandemic to some VHCS parents.
Clint Folsom, a graduate of the 1988 class of Vestavia Hills High School, is the mayor of Superior, where his mother, Jean, a former VHHS teacher, also lives.
Antoinette (Toni) Vines, founder and president of Mercy Deliverance Ministries, will receive the Distinguished Citizen Award, and Karen Odle, president of the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.
