The LEADER of Dudley Council has spoken of his pride at the numerous construction projects underway after top regeneration and economic officials visited the town centre. Councillor Patrick Harley said the projects will bring an exiting new era for our town as the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) board members were wowed during their visit on Friday (March 12). The numerous projects form part of a £1billion wide programme and people can learn all about them at www.regeneratingdudley.org.uk They include: The £450 million Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Metro extension will reduce journey times, particularly to Dudley town centre and Merry Hill, and will link Dudley to Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
