COVID-19 lockdown restriction has for months, forced motorists to hit the brakes on renewing their driver license cards.

Now with lockdown downgraded to alert level 1, a surge in
renewals are expected across the province.
To combat this issue and the risk of spreading COVID-19, the
City’s Metro Police has now developed a swifter booking system.
Metro’s Parboo Sewpersadh says the booking system is an
attempt to eliminate the long queues to protect their customers from potential
exposure to the virus.
