Philadelphia police sponed to 1808 pine street at 4 00 this morning. They found the 60yearold victim suffering from wounds to his face torso and left hand. There was an explosion when the victim opened an envelope that he thought was medication he receives through the mail. It was a substantial detonation. About ten neighbors were evacuated as were guests at a nearby bed and breakfast. Obviously i had the concerns to clarify what the situation really was. A lot of bright lights that is pretty weird for 5 00 in the morning. Investigators say that the envelope was addressed to the victim and intended for him although they dont know why. The victim was out of town and its unclear when the parcel arrived and whether it came to the mail or whether it was placed at the address.
