Way back in 1996 when Frances McDormand won her first Academy Award for Best Actress in Fargo, yours truly was toiling away at the West Elgin Chronicle, which at the time had its offices on the main street of Rodney.
I drove there every day from Chatham and as it was a one-person newsroom, I often worked on the weekends, sometimes with the boys in tow as an added bonus.
