What you need to know about the Burlington Farmers Market 2021

After a chaotic 2020 summer season for Vermont s farmers markets, the Burlington Farmers Market is poised to return to Pine Street in early May. Last year, markets faced a whirlwind of closures and changing guidelines. In March 2020, all farmers markets were ordered to close. Soon after with some petitioning of state government from the markets themselves they were allowed to open under strict COVID protocols, including rules against eating and drinking on site and requiring only one member of each household to shop.  The market will be open every Saturday starting May 8 through October 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees can find the market at 345 Pine St. in Burlington.
