Free Trapper Education Workshops in Lafayette, Monroe
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) in partnership with the Louisiana Fur Advisory Council will hold free trapper education workshops in Lafayette on Jan. 16 and Monroe on Feb. 6.
The Lafayette workshop will be held at Vermilionville Historic Village located at 300 Fisher Road. The Monroe workshop will be conducted at the LDWF Field Office located at 368 Century Link Drive. Both workshops begin at 8:30 a.m. and run through 3 p.m.
The workshops are free, however, registration is required.
