A new program offered by the La Vergne Fire Department will make it easier for residents to communicate information for first responders to use in the an emergency.
(La Vergne, Tenn.) A new program offered by the La Vergne Fire Department will make it easy for residents and business owners to communicate valuable information for first responders to use in the event of an emergency.
The program, called Community Connect, is for La Vergne residents and business owners. Owners and occupants can register information like their contact information, family members, pets, medical needs, any hazardous materials on site, emergency plans, gate key or keypad informat .
(La Vergne, Tenn.) The La Vergne Police Department will be hosting National Night Out on October 4 at Veterans Memorial Park, located at 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
“We pushed back this year’s National Night Out to October because of the summer heat,” says Sgt. Sheree Robertson. “We’re really excited, though, to still see all of our neighboring departments that come out and interact with the community.”
