The young boy living in Praia would one day become an artist whose work is deeply influenced by African culture and will be displayed in his new home, a city with one of the highest Cape Verdean populations in Massachusetts and the United States. I want to show my passion for art and inspire immigrants like me never to give up their passion, if it s art, music and drawing. With my opportunity of displaying the African Scarification exhibit in the Enso gallery, I can better showcase my work by giving the viewers a full insight into my creativity, said the Brockton resident.
