Walker Business & Community Recognition Luncheon & Empowerment Forum virtually. Madam C.J. Walker’s legacy as an entrepreneur, philanthropist, political and social activist is a role model to many. This annual fundraising luncheon event is held in her name and honors four Bay Area women who have made an impact through leadership in their communities. This year the keynote speaker is six-time New York Times’ best-selling author and NAACP Image Award Winner, Ms. Iyanla Vanzant. This year’s honorees are Aimee Allison, Founder and President, She the People; Nicole Felix, Chief Operating Officer, Pound Bizness; Tanzanika Carter, Assistant Sheriff, San Francisco Sheriff’s Office; and Vera Moore, Market Manager-Community Engagement, Corporate Responsibility, JP Morgan Chase.
