A former Ventura County supervisor will discuss a fall home tour to benefit a library foundation at the East Ventura Community Council meeting Thursday.

The College Area Community Council plans to discuss a Ventura College facilities plan and receive a presentation from Ventura Tree Alliance during an online meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Presenters include Christy Weir, former Ventura mayor, of the Ventura Tree Alliance. She will discuss how residents can get involved in urban forestry.
The council represents residents in District 3, between Dunning Street and Lemon Grove Avenue to the west and Hill Road to the east, north of Highway 126.
