The Delhi government today said 14 private hospitals in the city have been made "full COVID-19" hospitals and asked them not to admit patients other than those infected with coronavirus.

In the last 24 hours, 494 new Covid cases and 13 new deaths have been reported in Delhi while 40 people have been detected with new corona strain. All the 40 persons have been admitted to LNJP hospital. Out of 40, most of them either came from England or came in contact with people who returned from there.
Talking about the current situation in the capital, Delhi s Health Minister Satyendar Jain said on Saturday that the positivity rate in Delhi was 0.73 per cent and is steadily declining as only 585 new cases were reported in Delhi on Friday. We hope that the number of new cases in Delhi remain below 500, he added.
