1/1 A SOUTHAMPTON-born artist is earning international recognition by focusing on the plight of the city s homeless. James Earley is using online marketplace Artfinder to highlight the ordeal of those who have suffered during the pandemic including people living rough on the streets. He once said: I use my work to raise awareness of issues such as homelessness, mental health and war. I want to make the invisible visible, I want my art to scream and demand attention. James is entirely self-taught, making his success as an artist all the more remarkable. He won first prize at the prestigious London Biennale in 2019 and has been selected to exhibit at the internationally-renowned Venice Biennale in 2022.
