Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed that all 1,389.49 hectares of required land have been acquired. The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) stated that the land was procured in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Civil contracts for the project in Gujarat and Maharashtra have been awarded, with progress on the bullet train, including the launch of 120.4km of girders and the completion of 271km of pier casting.
Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also shared the status of land acquisition on X, saying the entire 1389.49 hectares of land required for the project has been acquired.
