Tupapa Maraerenga FC has added firepower with top players from local clubs and three from New Zealand for the OFC Men’s Champions League Qualifying Tournament this month.
Fili Napa’a (31) was sentenced to 18-months imprisonment partially suspended for charges including possession of 329.98 grams of cannabis at Veitongo in March this year.
Sione Katoa (29) was sentenced to 21-months imprisonment with parts suspended for numerous charges that included possession of illicit drugs, namely 0.65 grams of methamphetamine at Veitongo.
Fokikovi Lauaki (28) was jailed for stealing $144,660 from Luna'eva Enterprises Limited in 2022. She diverted the company's funds into her own bank account and another bank account. “That she did this after being dismissed shows a particularly brazen character and one determined to cheat,” said the judge.
