Veisaru bridge 1 in Ba is closed to all traffic after sustaining damages to its approaches from the current Tropical Depression/Cyclone weather event.
The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is advising then public that alternative routes are available subjected to weather conditions.
“Appropriate temporary traffic management has been installed to direct motorists,” FRA said.
“Restoration will be undertaken once weather improves permanently. Public is advised not to attempt to cross this washed out approach.”
