I was just going to say the only thing better than a thanksgiving meal, because i really do love thanksgiving food, is the left overs. Reheating it, making a big sandwich. Mmmm. A lot of you are thinking about shopping today. Well, its a myth that black friday is the biggest shopping day of the year. Can you guess when is the biggest shopping day of the year . Im not sure i can pick one day, im going it say because so many people put off shopping its going to be close to the christmas holiday. Its the saturday before christmas especially when christmas is on a holiday or on a weekend, sorry. That makes sense. It basically proves to us were more procrastinators than early birds when is it comes to friday
A while. I know. I was just thinking dont call denise if it is late at night. For her late at night is after 9 30. My husband and i got in a little tiff yesterday. [laughter] because, i will get texts from people not often, but 9 30, 10 00 usually its my son who is in madison and i feel, that i need to have my phone by my bedside, he is just in case he texts me. Usually its something stupid like im late with a fee i need to pay. Im like tell me this at 10 00 in the morning, but what if it is like i have been arrested or i have been mugged you know what i mean. Be able to respond. Oha time i gott like 5 00 in the morning. Do have you a phone by your bedside . I do. I also use it as my alarm. Do you have it on silent . Be wait until caly is gone next year. I just thought i would look up the stat and see. Oh, flash back to the 80s i loved this song. Everybody is working for this weekend because its a holiday and we have monday off labor day. Washington post had an awesome article about the first job and what it says about you. Be think being your first seven jobs. One of the things it says two trends emerge. This guy is in his 40s this is definitely true of my generation, one the first few positions in typical summer jobs. Lifeguarding, mowing lawns, delivering papers, babysitting. Working at mcdonalds. The gap stuff like that. The second job, the second trend was that they had them during or after college so this kind of mix of occupations where it shows they were starting at the bottom. So mail clerk, reception desk. Things like that. Like they are already working up the career ladder. They are doing jobs in their area of interest. Or they are told to consider their passion. This is the most f fascinating thing i read. Many students who now Enter College have never held a parttime job
