Diving teams search for drowning victims in the Maas River in Maastricht Sunday afternoon after a boat overturned on the river. Firefighters save 12 cows from manure pit after shed floor collapses Firefighters spent eight hours on Sunday trying to rescue 16 cows who became trapped in a manure pit. Four of the animals died after the floor of their cowshed in the Limburg village of Lemiers collapsed, plunging them into the pit, De Limburger reported.
