TOKYO, Feb 1 : China overtook Japan as the world's biggest vehicle exporter last year, data from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) showed Wednesday.
Bajaj Auto: Total two-wheeler sales were at 2,83,001 units last month as against 2,47,052 units in the year-ago period, a growth of 15%, the company said.
The Japanese automaker is considering exporting the line-up of existing internal combustion engine vehicles and upcoming pure electric and plug-in hybrid cars manufactured and developed in China to overseas markets, Masashi Matsuyama, vice president of Nissan Motor and president of Nissan China, told reporters in Beijing.
Hyundai Motor, South Korea s top carmaker, and its sister company, Kia, are set to post combined exports of 2 million units in 2023, data showed on Sunday, on the back of the post-pandemic market recovery.
