Celebrate Earth Week by completing these easy activities to reduce your carbon footprint. Calculate Your Carbon Footprint - A carbon footprint calculates how much greenhouse gases (including carbon dioxide and methane) are generated by our actions and lifestyle. The average carbon footprint for a person in the United States is 16 tons, one of the highest rates in the world (source: nature.org). Valentine s Day Spaghetti Meal Fundraiser – Mix 107 3 KIOW

A Valentine’s Day Spaghetti Meal Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, February 14th from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm on behalf of Helen Finer of Thompson. Helen has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. This is a To Go Spaghetti Meal for $10 and includes: Spaghetti, Lettuce Salad, Homemade Bread, Dessert and a Vegetarian Meal is available. Delivery is available to Thompson, Leland, Lake Mills and Forest City. Deadline for Delivery calls is Friday, February 12th by 5pm – call 641-567-3733. All proceeds will be directed to: Helen Finer Fundraiser. If you can’t attend, you can still donate to: Titonka Savings Bank in Thompson c/o benefit account for Helen Finer.
