Fiji now has 4,496 active COVID-19 cases in isolation and 27 deaths from the deadly virus.
Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor James Fong confirms there are 386 new cases of COVID-19 and 2 COVID-19 deaths to report for the 24 hour period that ended at 8am today.

Thousands of people living in Nasinu and Nakasi are facing unplanned power disruption from this morning as the Water Authority of Fiji is repairing an underground burst water main near the Laqere Bridge.
EFL says these repair works involves digging and exposing water mains which is close to a power pole.
Parts of Kings Road from Laqere Bridge to Omkaar Road junction, the whole of Narere Road, Muanikoso Road, Manuluva Circle, Vatuloka Place, Tavaga Lane, Kaicaca Lane, Vatudina Road an parts of Beaumont Road from Kings Road junction to Vatoa Road junction, FNTC Road, Mobile Police Camp, WAF Laqere Sewerage Pump, Makoi Total Service Station, Narere Primary School and all residential and commercial areas in nearby areas will face power disruptions.
