Ryan Behar, 42, a New Springville resident, now faces federal charges after authorities alleged he used an Instagram account to make a series of lewd and sexual requests to a 16-year-old girl.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A registered sex offender from New Springville who was recently accused of attempting to lure a 12-year-old girl to the Staten Island Mall now faces federal charges for allegedly posing as a teenage boy and making a series of graphic and lewd requests to a 16-year-old girl on Instagram.
Reno Police determined Rivera died as a result of a medical event.
Reno Police Sergeant Laura Conklin could not release any details about the medical event, saying that nothing criminal occurred and that it is up to the family to release additional medical information.
She said the case is closed.

A man found unresponsive Saturday near Vassar Street and Holcomb Avenue and later pronounced dead has been identified as 58-year-old Meinrado Rivera, the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner s Office said Monday.
Reno Police responded to an incident Saturday morning and found Rivera unresponsive. He was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
