On Friday (March 5), the city government conducted a simulation exercise for its COVID-19 vaccine rollout at the Historic Alberto Mansion – the 200-year-old ancestral house of Teodora Alonso, mother of Dr. Jose Rizal.
Atty. Vange Arriba of the city government’s COVID-19 Vaccine Taskforce told Manila Bulletin that the LGU chose Alberto Mansion as a vaccination site because of its historical significance. With the mansion being a witness to battles and milestones, the heritage site has become a tangible representation of hope to Biñanenses.
