Petty Officer Devyn Drake says she was coming back home after an overnight shift at Naval Station Norfolk when she saw a car seat at the Parkwood Manor Apartments complex. I thought it was just furniture left outside, explained Drake. But when I got closer, I saw a little head peeping through the blanket hole and I saw it was a baby. I couldn t believe it.

Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a three-month-old they say is believed to be in extreme danger.
Vanessa Dasilva was last seen at 3408 Western Branch Boulevard in Chesapeake at about 6:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to Virginia State Police. She was reportedly last seen wearing a pink and white Minnie Mouse jumpsuit.
State Police say they believe she was abducted by a man last seen driving a 2017 Grey Hyundai Tuscon with license plate number VXX-1085.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. Virginia State Police said 3-month-old Vanessa Dasilva was found safe after she was abducted inside a stolen vehicle in Chesapeake Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to the Wawa convenience store in the 3400 block of Western Branch Boulevard for a report of a vehicle theft and abduction on Wednesday morning. An Amber Alert was then issued around 8 a.m.
