As I write this, 365 days have passed since I last worked in the office. That’s somewhere around 52 weekly staff meetings where my work baes appeared as little rectangles on my laptop. It’s thousands and thousands of Slack messages that we should have delivered face to face. Sometimes, when I envision my work friends, I see their Twitter avatars instead of their animated faces.
