Jerry Deen’s will reopen at 801 E. Seventh St. on the east side of Wilmington, with a public ribbon cutting at noon on April 22.
Owner Charly Bass closed the original Jerry Deen’s about three years ago and since that time has been working on funding and planning for a future re-opening. The restaurant operated for a couple of years at the old Post House location on north Market Street.
“I’m so excited for this new location,” said Bass. “The amazing transformation of Wilmington in recent years has brought a vibrancy to the restaurant scene that, although injured, couldn’t be defeated by Covid. I am proud to join this impressive community,” she said.
